Like most leather shoes these were fairly rigid at first. However, after a few hours on my feet, they softened up nicely and were surprisingly comfortable. The rubber on the sole is just enough to give the shoe some cushion while keeping the shoe looking classy and not like some others that overdo it on the rubber and lose the appeal of a dress shoe. Spent some time putting a quality shine on these and it appears the leather is of good quality and will remain looking great for some time. I’d recommend these to anyone looking for an affordable every day dress shoe option
