   This bag is exactly what I hoped for. I keep finding little surprises, including a dedicated pen/supply section that I missed on first opening the package. It is shipped in a nice canvas protective bag and sealed in plastic. Looks great, if a little darker than I expected. I think with some wear and weathering it will get to the lighter brown I was hoping for. Fits my 13″ laptop with plenty of room to spare. Great job Polare! I think this will be the long term replacement for a 15 year old leather bag from college that my wife finally made me throw out

   I would give it 4 stars or even 5 except for the fact that it stained my pants as it rubbed against them in the first half-hour of walking with the shoulder strap. After I noticed my stained pants, I wiped the bag with a damp cloth but nothing came off on the cloth. I don’t know what to do now

   In reading another review on Polare’s briefcases it recommended learning about grades of leather. Glad I did. Full grain is the highest grade and what this briefcase is made of. Others have mentioned the weight and I agree it is substantial because it is not the cheap “genuine” leather briefcases which are the second lowest grade and don’t last. I was interested in another briefcase but discovered it was genuine leather and cost $70 more. At 15.7″ it is still large enough to carry papers and a 15″ laptop. It is a handsome well made piece I am proud to own and show off to the people I work with. This is great quality at a great price
