Got it as a gift for my hubby. He was looking at a similar design from a designer brand which was obviously wayyyy over my budget. Got him this and he loved it. No bad chemical smell. Came nicely packed and had no scratches on it. The stitching looks fine and all the zips and hooks/clasps work well. He is using it as a gym bag. Will update on how well it holds!

This is a quality bag and just small enough to be a carry-on piece, at least for AA and SW. Fits in overheads of airplane cabins easily. Taken several trips with this bag and neither airline gave me any trouble. This was my one concern as the bag dimensions are pushing the overall carry-on size limitations for these carriers. Saw plenty of others folks with larger luggage pieces bringing onto plane cabin, so no worries. The bag does fit (barely) into AA baggage size tester.
The bag itself has a sturdy and comfortable carrying handle, excellent shoulder straps and strong zipper. It is a quality black leather and subdued design. Bag Interior had no strong leather smell as other reviewers have indicated, nonetheless, a dryer softener sheet went in upon arrival and there has been no troubles with any interior smells whatsoever. Some interior side compartments are helpful for packing.
On my last trip, had three days worth of clothes, dopp kit and extra pair of shoes. Some room to spare.
It does have four metalic cleats on exterior bottom which some may not prefer. I actually like being able to set luggage down, perhaps on wet pavement, so this is a plus for me. Otherwise, I hardly noticed they were there.
In my opinion, this is a true weekender bag at a solid price point.

Wow! This is a gorgeous bag made of beautiful high quality leather. This rivals any Coach or designer bag and my husband was extremely impressed, as was my son who wants one now! Sturdy brass hardware makes this a classic bag that any man or woman would be proud to carry. Sturdy shoulder strap adds another option for travel. Large interior with laptop sleeve (would recommend a neoprene case just to add some cushion) with plenty of room for a long weekend trip or more depending on the season. I am buying one for me next! This would make a very impressive gift as well for anyone who wants a statement piece of luggage. So glad I bough this based on reviews! Came in large box with plenty of packing and dust bag. Can’t rave about this enough!! Tried to uploads pics on mobile but not able. Will try again on laptop.

This bad is amazing. Soo roomy. People at my job rave about this bag. Very professional. If you are like me and wonder if this will work, please do not hesitate. The bag came with a dust bag which I recommend to use as storage when you are not using the bag.

Just finished my first trip with this bag, and I love it. Well constructed with lots of attention to detail. Bag easily holds 2-3 days worth of clothing and a shaving kit.

The smell of new genuine leather is what meets you when you open the great cover packaging. Looks so classy and will certainly be the envy of fellow travelers. It is very spacious and roomy with pockets for Macbook and iPad and others for incidentals and travel documents. I am traveling ina few days so I will wait to see if it is just the edge too large for carry on. I hope not.
